Pak textbooks build hate culture against India
Ganesh,UP,says:This is how it is in pakistan. It's shame on us. They teaching hate & we are teaching love and compassion towards pakistan . If iam the cultural minister of india I would kick those who invite pakistani singers,actors & comedians to our shows. Pakistan is sowing venom in the young blood. They are teaching India is Hindu.India is nothing but sleeping ducks. It's true though , because since ages we are cowards and are always at the receiving end. If someone talks to fightback there are 1000 Gandhis& Nethas who will preach tolerence ( but only to hindus). In one of the NDTV show i have seen some celebrities calling pakistan is the victim of terrorism.Shame on you. I studied in Pakistan and never found any such material mentioned by the writer.I am a teacher of Urdu and have taught some India Hindu students also. They are my good friends apart from some other Hindu friends. The reality is that politicians on both sides of the border create a hype against each other, for their selfish interests. The need of the hour is that the educated, liberal people of each country should refuse to blindly follow their self seeking politicians. They beleive Mohammed wrote the first scriptures that the Hindus, Jews, Assyrians, Christians copied from, when in fact it is the other way around. I have had a Pakistani PhD lady tell me that Lord Ram was a Muslim, Jesus was a Muslim and that eventually God will reveal himself to us and give us a choice to be Muslim or face eternal hell. Even though this lady is born in the US and attended University here, she sends her kids to private Islamic schools, where a 5 year old is taught to hate Jews, Hindus and Christians. In conversations with some of them, they praise "jihad" and say that is the only way for the oppressed youth of Pakistan to rise and fight Hindu oppression. I think someone needs a shrink. In this case it is the entire country. I am surprised that you have allowed a substandard article such as this, to be displayed on the front page of your website. The article does not name the actual reference nor does it quote the actual sentences. The author seems to make up his/her own interpretations. At a time when the need of peace, harmony and understanding among people is at its peak, you decide to print this pathetic article, and honestly I cannot understand what this serves.
